struthers unleashed
A wild adventure –
with your best friend.
Struthers Unleashed is about loving our pets as much as our community. Our mission is to enhance Struthers with a free-for-all dog park where pets and owners can enjoy the freedom to play and exercise in a safe and secure environment.
Help us Reach our Goal.
All proceeds go to the creation and promotion of the Struthers Unleashed Dog Park. Incentives and gifts for benefactors are listed below.
location and vision
Grimm Nebo Field
The Dog Park will reside near the tree line to ensure residents and sports teams can still utilize the vast majority of the location for other activities.
Phase One will create a fenced area with fresh grass for play. Inside the fences will have benches for owners to relax while their dogs exercise. There will be two sections to separate small dogs from larger breeds, and each section will have dual-gate entryways to make sure entering and exiting the play area is safe and easy for everyone.

The City of Struthers, my office and my family are eager to see the Struthers Unleashed Dog Park at Grimm Nebo Field come to life. After all the community engagement we did with the comprehensive plan, a dog park was listed as a top priority for the city. When we launched Discover Struthers, this is the type of project we hoped the community would rally behind. We are happy that a committee was formed to lead this initiative. Please donate and share your ideas on what should be next via our online Discover Stuthers platform.
